Born in the Nehru Gandhi political family of India, Priyanka Gandhi, or Priyanka Vadra is one of the prominent politicians of the Indian National Congress Party. Although she till now did not contest in the direct elections she always supported and campaigned for political party candidates across India. Priyanka Gandhi was one of the star campaigners of the Congress Party in the general election of 2024. Her hard work rewarded the congress party in gen general election of 2024. She was born in 1972 in New Delhi. Her father Rajiv Gandhi was not active in politics at that time. Her mother Sonia Gandhi was also a homemaker at the time of her birth. She was brought up with her grandmother Indira Gandhi, the former and first woman Prime Minister of India. Priyanka Gandhi studied in New Delhi at Jesus and Mary College of Delhi University. After graduation, she pursued a master’s degree from the same college.

Her father Rajiv Gandhi entered politics after the death of Indira Gandhi and her mother Sonia Gandhi, brother Rahul Gandhi entered politics after the death of her father Rajiv Gandhi. She married his friend Robert Vadra while she was studying in college. Robert Vadra was a businessman by profession and belongs to the Saharanpur District of Uttar Pradesh. She has two children in his family and both are studying. Priyanka kept herself out of politics till 2019 but she was closely watching the performance of the Congress party in the general election of 2014 and raising the support of the Bhartiya Janta Party in the country. She entered into politics in 2019 indirectly when she became the star campaigner of the Congress party in Uttar Pradesh in the general election of 2019.

Now she is actively involved in national politics. She works hard as the star campaigner in the Uttar Pradesh state assembly election 2022. Her presence boosted the courage of the congress members in Uttar Pradesh in the election but Congress lost the assembly election to Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP).

However, the result was against Rahul Gandhi and he lost the constituency to Smriti Irani by a margin of more the 40 thousand votes. She is going to contest in the Bi-Poll election as the candidate of the Indian National Congress Party from the Wayanad constituency of Lok Sabha. She is an active member of the Congress Working Committee (CWC).
