Shrikant Eknath Shinde renowned politician and current member of the 18th Lok Sabha of India was born in 1987 in Mumbai. He was born into the family of a famous Marathi politician and current CM of Maharashtra Eknath Sambhji Shinde. He was the youngest politician in Maharashtra state who was elected as a member of parliament in the 2014 general election as the candidate of Shiv Sena at the age of 27 years. Shrikant Shinde completed his early schooling in Mumbai and selected medicine as his higher education. He joined DY Patil Medical College and completed his MBBS. Shrikant continued his medical education and appeared for MS in Orthopedics.
He inherited politics from his father Eknath Shinde and contested as the candidate of Shiv Sena from the Kalyan constituency of Lok Sabha in 2014. Young Shrikant was studying in the last year of his MS degree during election campaigning. The public of Kalyan Constituency elected him as the youngest candidate of Maharashtra state. He is a professional orthopedic surgeon and politician. His mother Lata Shinde is a homemaker and lives in Mumbai.
