Actor, Television Presenter, and Politician, Suresh Gopi was born in the family of K. Gopinathan Pillai in 1958. He is currently representing Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency of Kerala state as a member of Parliament. His father was professionally working with the Malayali Film Industry as a film distributor. He finished his schooling in Kollam city of Kerala state and finished his graduation in Zoology from Fatima Mata National College Kollam. Suresh later finished his Master’s degree in English Literature from the same college and joined the Malayali Movie Industry.
He is currently serving as the Minister of Tourism and Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas in the third term of the Narendra Modi Government of India. Suresh Gopi is the only Member of Parliament from Kerala State who is representing any constituency as the candidate of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). He was introduced as the candidate of BJP in Kerala State for the first time won the Thrissur constituency and broke the record of over 75 years for for winning the seat for BJP. Actor Suresh was selected as the Minister of State and Minister of Tourism in the team Modi 3.0 Government.
