Shri Bhagirath Choudhary, a senior politician of Rajasthan state is currently serving as a member of the parliament of the 18th Lok Sabha as the representative of the Ajmer constituency of the state. He defeated Ramchandra Choudhary of the Indian National Congress party in the general election 2024 by around three lakh thirty thousand votes. Bhagirath Chowdhary is serving as the Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmer Welfare in the Narendra Modi-led Government of India.

He was born in a simple family of Ramchandra Choudhary and Dekha Devi in Manura, Ajmer in 1954. Bhagirath Chowdhary completed his schooling and moved to Jaipur for higher education. He is a businessman and a politician by profession. Shri Bhagirath Choudhary served two terms as a member of the Legislative Assembly in 2003 and 2013.
