Shri Karti P. Chidambaram is a prominent Indian Politician, businessman, and lawyer from Tamil Nadu. He has been a member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha since 2019. Chidambaram was recently elected to the 18th Lok Sabha from the Sivaganga Lok Sabha Constituency by representing the Indian National Congress. He defeated the AIADMK candidate Xavier Das with a margin of 205,664 votes.
Karti Chidambaram was born to Nalini Chidambaram and P Chidambaram in Chennai, Tamil Nadu on 16th November 1971. He obtained a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and completed an LLB from Wolfson College, Cambridge University, U.K. in 1995. Karti belongs to a reputed political family of P Chidambaram, who is the current MP in Rajya Sabha, a former five-time MP of Lok Sabha, and served as the Union Minister four times.
