Shri Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, a Businessman and politician was born to the Bidhuri Gujjar Community family in Tughlakabad village of New Delhi in 1951. He was brought up in the agricultural family of the village with his siblings. Ramvir finished his schooling at the local school of the village and joined Delhi University for higher education. His educational years at Delhi University gave him a chance to enter student politics. He joined Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad, and joining ABVP was his first step in politics. He never looked back in politics and was elected as the candidate of the first state assembly election held in 1993.

Ramvir was very active in social service in the area of his village before he was selected as the candidate by the Delhi BJP high command in 1993. He never looked back and was consecutively selected as a member of the Delhi state assembly election till 2020 From Badarpur Legislative Assembly. In the general election of 2024, JP Nadda-led Bhartiya Janta Party introduced him as the candidate for Lok Sabha from the South Delhi constituency dropping Ramesh Bidhuri, the Sitting MP from the constituency. Ramvir Singh Bidhuri won the Lok Sabha seat with a Huge margin of votes defeating the Aam Aadmi Party candidate.

He has his permanent political office at his residence from where he looks after his political activities and meets with people and other officials. Ramveer Singh Bidhuri joined the Janta Party when he introduced himself as a politician later he joined India’s Largest political party Indian National Congress, But in 2008, he resigned from the primary membership of the party. He later after some time joined Bhartiya Janta Party. Later, the BJP introduced Ramvir Singh Bidhuri to central politics in the 2024 general election.
