Shri Devusinh Chauhan, former union minister of state for the Ministry of Communication in the second term of PM Narendra Modi’s Government is serving his third consecutive term as a member of the Lok Sabha of the Parliament. He contested from the Kheda Lok Sabha constituency of Gujarat state as the candidate of the Bhartiya Janta Party in the general election of 2024. Devusinh Chauhan was first elected as a member of the parliament from the same constituency in the general election in 2009.

He was born in 1964 in the Kheda District of Gujarat state. His father Jesingbhai Somabhai Chauhan was an agriculturist and his Mother Hiraben Chauhanwas was a maker. He completed his schooling in his hometown. Shri Devusinh Chauhan obtained a diploma in electrical engineering from govt. polytechnic, Porbandar. He joined the BJP after completing his education.
