Shri Varun Chaudhry, a young politician of the Indian National Congress Party from the Haryana state of India is serving as a member of the 18th Lok Sabha of the parliament. He was fielded as the candidate from the Indian National Congress Party from Ambala seat against BJP candidate Rajbir Singh. Varun won the election defeating Rajbir Singh by more than forty thousand votes. Earlier he was serving as a member of the Haryana legislative assembly from Mulana constituency.

He was born in Ambala in 1980. Varun Chaudhry was brought up by his mother Pushpa Devi with his siblings and completed his schooling in Ambala. He moved to New Delhi for higher education and earned an LLB degree from Delhi University. Shri Varun Chaudhry was involved in student politics while he was studying at DU. After returning back to Ambala he joined the Indian National Congress Party and was actively involved in state politics.
