Dr. V. Sivadasan is a sitting MP of the Rajya Sabha from Kerala. He was born into a small family in 1979 in the Kannur district of Kerala State. He is known as the most prominent leftist politician of the Communist Party of India (Marxist). He joined politics in his schooldays as a the member of Student Federation of India (SFI) which is the youth wing of the Communist Party he participated in lots of protests against the government at a young age.
He was also arrested by police in New Delhi when his party was protesting against the Solar Scam of the Kerala Government. Dr. V Sivadasan was booked for Tihar Jail for a few Days. He contested the Rajya Sabha Election from Kerala and won the seat unopposed. He first time became a Member of the Parliament of India in 2021.
