Sanjay Singh Sitting Rajaya Shabha MP was born in 1972 in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He has been a Permanent member of the Aam Aadmi Party and a founding member of the AAP party along with Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia. He started his political career as a social worker and founded Aazad Samaj Seva Samiti in Lucknow. His political ambition brought him to New Delhi and he actively participated with Anna Hazare in the 2011 anti-corruption movement in Jantar Mantar New Delhi.

Her presence at the movement made him close to Arvind Kejriwal. He joined Aam Aadmi Party. Then he became the Rajya Sabha Member of the party from New Delhi Constituency. He is the Most Controversial leader of the party. Sanjay Singh was arrested and became the main accused of the Delhi Liquor Policy scam. Then he was sent to Tihar Jail, but now he is out on bail and working for the party.
