Ms. Kavita Patidar, a Young and energetic politician of the Bhartiya Janta Party from Madhya Pradesh is currently serving her first term as a member of the Rajya Sabha of the Parliament of India. She joined the BJP at a young age and was elected as a member of the Indore Zila  Panchayat at the age of 46 years. Kavita also served as the number of the Madhya Pradesh State Women Commission for two years from 2012 to 2014.

She was born in Indore City of Madhya Pradesh in the family of Bheru Lal Patidar and Yashoda Patidar in 1974. She finished her schooling in Mhow Indore and obtained her MA, B Sc., and LLB Degree from Government Degree College Mhow. Kavita Patidar joined politics as a Member of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) at an early age. She was active in the local politics and social service of her district and became a member of the Zilla Panchayat of the Indore district, Madhya Pradesh.
