Satish Chandra Dubey, a Senior politician of the Bhartiya Janta Party is serving as a member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and union minister of the state for Coal and Mines in PM Narendra Modi-led Government of India. He contested in the Rajya Sabha election from Bihar state. His political career started as the winning contestant in the Bihar Legislative Assembly in 2005.
