Smt. Dharmshila Gupta, an Indian politician from Bihar state is serving her first term in the Rajya Sabha of the Parliament of India. She is known as the ground base worker of the Bhartiya Janta party was contested in the Darbhanga Municipal Corporation in 2007 and became the counselor of the corporation. Dharmshila Gupta continued as the ground-level worker of the party and once again contested as the candidate of the Darbhanga Mayer election in 2022 but lost.

She was born in the simple family of Shri Asharfi Lal Sah and Smt. Bimla Devi in District Madhubani, Bihar in 1969. Dharmshila Gupta obtained M. Sc and PhD degrees from Alitt Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga. She joined the teaching profession and involved herself in the social service with teaching. Smt. Dharmshila Gupta is also a member of Coal India.
