Shri Parimal Suklabaidya, a senior politician of the Assam state of the Bhartiya Janta Party is serving as a member of the 18th Lok Sabha. He won the election from Silchar Lok Sabha constituency in the 2024 general election. Parimal defeated his opponent of the INDIA alliance and Indian National Congress Party, Surya Kanta Sarkar by the margin of two lakh sixty-four thousand votes.

He was born in 1958 in Cachar city of Assam in the family of Profulla Suklabaidya and Pratibha Suklabaidya. Parimal Suklabaidya was graduated from Guwahati University and Agriculturist by profession. He belongs to the Scheduled Caste community of the Assam State. Parimal previously served as the MLA of the Assam State Assembly.
