Krishna Prasad Tenneti, retired IPS turned politician and member of 18th Lok Sabha was born in 1060 in Hyderabad. He was born to a Dalit teacher’s family. His father Subbaiah Tenneti & mother Vijaya Laxmi Tenneti both were in the teaching profession. after finishing his schooling he joined IIM for MBA and IIM Warangal for B. Tech. He cleared the UPSC exam and selected IPS as his profession. Krishna Prasad Tenneti was married to Advocate Sirisha Kumari Tenneti and has two children in his family.
Shri K. P. Tenneti has worked as an IPS officer in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana both states. He was very fond of social work. He adopted a village named Yerravalli under his own founded NGO, Krishna Prasad Foundation. The foundation distributed more than 42 bicycles till now and helping the children to pursue their higher education. He joined the Telugu Desam Party and was nominated as the candidate of the Bapatla constituency. KP Tenneti joined the Indian parliament as the Member of 18th Lok Sabha 2024.
