Dr. Hemant Vishnu Savara, a Doctor turned politician of Maharashtra state is serving his first term as a member of the 18th Lok Sabha of the Parliament of India. He contested in the general election of 2024 as the candidate of the Bhartiya Janta Party from the Palghar Constituency. Hemant Savara defeated Bharti Kamdi of Shiv Sena- Udhav Bala Saheb Thackery party by the margin of almost one lakh eighty thousand votes securing a total of above six lakh votes of the constituency.
He was born in 1976 in the Jawhar district of the Palghar constituency of Maharashtra. Hemant Vishnu Savara was born in the political family of former BJP politician Vishnu Savara. He completed id medical degree MBBS in Orthopedics Grant Medical College. Hemant Savara is a doctor by profession. His father served as the Union Minister in the central government of India.
