Shri Vishaldada Prakashbapu Patil or Vishal Patil or Vishaldada Sanglil, was the only independent candidate from Maharashtra state who was elected in the general election of 2024. He is serving now as the candidate of the Indian National Congress Party after winning the Lok Sabha Seat. Vishal Dada won the Lok Sabha election after defeating the Shiv Sena- UBT candidate from the Sangli constituency. Before contesting in the general election he resigned from the Indian National Congress party.

Vishal Patil was born in the family of veteran congress leaders of Maharashtra state Shri Prakashbapu Vasantdada Patil and Shailja Patil in 1980. He came from a political family of the former CM of the Maharashtra state and his grandfather Shri Vasantdada Patil. Vishal Dada kept the legacy of the Patil family and joined politics at an early age. He lost his first state assembly election in 2019.
