Smt Kalaben Mohanbhai Delkar is a well-known Indian Politician from Gujarat. She is serving as a member of the 18th Lok Sabah from Dadra and Nagar Haveli as the candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Kalaben is the first woman Member of Parliament from Dadra and Nagar Haveli as well as the first Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) MP outside Maharastra. She defeated Ajit Rambhai Mahla with a margin of 57,584 votes.

Kalaben Delkar was born to the Shankarbhai Jivlabhai Patel and Sitaben in Sukhala of Valsad district in Gujarat. She obtained a Graduate (B.A.) degree from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, (External Mode) in 2007-08. Kalaben is a Political Activist by profession. As per her election declaration, she has INR 71 Crore of Assets and + 1 Crore of liabilities. There are not any criminal cases against her.

Kalaben Mohanbhai Delkar started his political journey in 2021 by joining the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) and successfully contested the 2021 by-poll from Dadra and Nagar Haveli Lok Sabha seat as a member of Shiv Sena, after the death of her husband Mohanbhai Sanjibhai Delkar. She was again elected as MP from the same constituency in 2024 as the candidate of the BJP Party. Kalaben associated with Shiv Sena from 2021 to 2024, and then she joined BJP and became MP from Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

Kalaben Delkar was married to former seven-time MP of DNH Mohanbhai Sanjibhai Delkar. They had one son and a daughter. Her husband Mohanbhai Sanjibhai Delkar suicide on 22 February 2021. After her husband’s death, she took political responsibilities and served for the same constituent. She was also appointed as the Member of the Committee on Home Affairs on 26th September 2024. Thousands of people followed her on social media platforms. She lives at her official residence in New Delhi as a parliamentarian.
