Shri Ananta Nayak, a Bhartiya Janta Party politician from Odisha state is currently serving as a member of the 18th Lok Sabha of the Parliament of India. He is serving his third term as a member of the lower house of the parliament. His electoral politics began in the general election of 1999. Ananata Nayak won the Lok Sabha seat in 1999. He was on the team of the PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee government of BJP till 2004. Anata Nayak served in various senior posts in the Odisha state of the BJP party.

He was born in the simple family of Panu Nayak and Gura Nayak in the Langalakanti town of Keonjhar district in 1969. Ananta Nayak completed his schooling from his hometown and joined DD College Keonjhar, He completed his Engineering degree from B.O.S.E., Cuttack in Mechanical Engineering. He joined the Bhartiya Janta party and worked on the ground level in the state to promote the policies and ideology of the party.

Ananta Nayak is a social worker and politician by profession. He contested in the general election of 2004 once again from the same constituency of the Odisha state. He secured the constituency second time for the Bhartiya Janta Party in the elections. He was introduced again as the candidate of the BJP in the general election of 2024 from the Keonjhar constituency.
